About Me

I live just outside of Ipswich in a village named Ringshall and I am looking for 3d work of any kind; either employed, freelance or working in a partnership together moving away doesn’t bother me. I have completed a three year ‘BA (honours) 3d Animation Course’ at Hatfield University learning everything from designing, drawing, modelling, lighting, texturing, rigging, skinning, animating, rendering and compositing as well as fluid dynamics, particles, plugging like Fumefx, Rayfire, Afterburn and building websites.

I have gained 7 months experience working in the industry for  company down in Brighton and 2 years part time freelancing.

I have worked on a kids program showing in Japan and France at the moment waiting for its release to the Uk and other countries called Gaspard and Lisa, The Lemsip advert shown on TV today and Montarose project for Channel 4.

My preferred profession is animation but I do have many other skills. Therefore I can complete most things in 3dsmax and have taught myself other areas, so learning through tutorials is very easy. I have also had training in Maya and other software, which are stated in my CV. I have experience in networking, building and repairing computers plus owning render farm company as well www.rendernow.co.uk

Funk City Working with Bob Birch (bassist) from Elton John’s band. Also Bob Conti a musician / producer / writer / recently produced the last two albums for Jose Feliciano (The Genius of Jose Feliciano Vol. 1 & 2).

ApoCARlyptic

 

This is going to be a 3-5min clip of three cars battling it out in the last seconds of the earth’s life set in 2012 21st of December. What would you do with your last seconds of life some people would rather choose to be with their family or to visit a place they have always loved to visit and others want to race. They know there about to die so each car has been fitted with weapons. Its early stages yet so we will see how it evolves. HERE are some renders. Check out the blog HERE

 

Green School Conversion

Alan Ramage asked me to rebuild in 3D the conversion of Green School so they could get the houses on the market before they finished it. I went in and took as many pictures of the house in the state it was in and started mocking up basic 3d models of each room. Check out some of the renders HERE Or the blog page HERE

We have just bought into some i5 sandybridge servers increasing the performance greatly with the chance to overclock the farm by 30% if needed. RenderNow Is a Render service that aims to bring down the overall cost and speed of rendering a small or large scale project.
